Tree-ripened plums are sourced from the vast orchards of Central Otago in the centre of New Zealand’s rugged South Island. The region has a Mediterranean-style climate with long, hot summers and dry, bitterly cold, snowy winters, making it an ideal climate for growing stonefruit.
This wonderfully fruity sauce has a good balance of sweet and sour. Delicious served with an anti-pasto platter, meat, fish, cheese, salads or sandwiches.
